Today is a great day for the Open Access movement. We're celebrating the first Open Access Day around the world. The day will be filled with announcements, events and videos. And all of this because: "Open Access Day will help to broaden awareness and understanding of Open Access, including recent mandates and emerging policies, within the international higher education community and the general public."
